Elouan Le Bars
[Guest artist]
Elouan Le Bars (born 1998) is a visual artist. He graduated as an engineer from the Université de Technologie de Compiègne in 2021 before joining the École Nationale Supérieure d'Arts de Paris-Cergy, from which he graduated in 2024. His practice, spanning video, installation and game design, examines the ideological structures embedded in competitive cultures, digital spaces and contemporary forms of labor. Drawing on research-based methods, he transposes the logics of gaming, crisis and management into spaces where they no longer function as intended — until their underlying assumptions become visible. A movement of displacement runs throughout his work: between the digital and the material, between documentary and fiction, between playing and being played.
His work has been presented in solo exhibitions at Ygrec-ENSAPC (2026) and in the project room of the Frac Île-de-France - Le Plateau (2025), as well as group exhibitions including La Villette (2026), POUSH (2026), Centre Wallonie Bruxelles (2025), Galerie de l'Académie des Beaux-Arts (2025), Musée des Arts et Métiers (2025), Kvalitar Gallery (2025), Centre d'art La Graineterie (2024), and festivals including Actoral (2025), Cinéma du Réel (2025), Milan Machinima Festival (2025), Si Cinéma (2024), Athens Digital Art Festival (2023), Asolo Art Film Festival (2023) and FILE Festival - Video Art (2023). He lives and works in Paris.
